BACKING UP THE BACKUP FILES ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE'S SD CARD
Here's a little tip - if you want to backup the entire ChbkGenius folder, that's probably the best way to protect the backup data. Yes, that's making a backup of a backup. But it's not a bad thing and it's actually good to do not just for your Checkbook Genius files, but also any other stuff that's dear to you (like photos, videos, etc.). I periodically do my own backups of my SD card this way. Here's how:
1) Locate the USB cable from your Android phone - this should be in the box.
2) Plug the small end into your Android phone and the large end into your laptop or desktop computer.
3) Depending on which version of Android you're running, you should either see a notification at the top of the screen that you can pull down, called "USB Connected". Tap this to open the SD card on your Incredible as a removable drive. This may actually automatically happen as soon as you plug it in.
4) Start your file manager if one isn't already running. In Windows, this is Windows Explorer; in Mac, this is the Finder.
5) Click on the ChbkGenius folder and then Copy it. (Windows: Edit+Copy or Ctrl+C. Mac: Edit+Copy or Command-C.)
6) Paste the folder you just copied to a folder on your laptop or desktop computer. (Windows: Edit+Paste or Ctrl+V. Mac: Edit+Paste or Command-V.) Want even more security? Copy that copied folder to a burned CD, DVD or an external SD card.
That's all there is to it!
